Informed Delivery, a consumer-facing feature, enhances the value of physical mail by creating an additional touchpoint via digital content.
Here’s how it works:
Informed Delivery sends its subscribers images of the exterior of mailpieces and tracking links for packages that are soon-to-arrive in their mailboxes. Subscribers view these consolidated messages via email, mobile app, or online dashboard.
When you integrate an additional digital campaign element called a “ride-along image” (including a Call to Action and target URL) into this notification preview, you earn the discount.
Runs: Aug. 1 – Dec. 31, 2024 (Registration begins June 15, 2024)
Applies to: Marketing Mail (Standard), including Nonprofit. Periodicals Class is not eligible.
What you will need for approval:
- A “representative image”
- Static image of your mailpiece (your issue cover)
- JPEG (.jpg) format
- Full color image (RGB color code; not CMYK)
- Size: 780 pixels max width by 500 pixels max height (pixels) landscape orientation OR 350 pixels max width by 500 pixels max height (pixels) portrait orientation
- Maximum file size 200kb
- A “ride-along image”
- Directly relates to the mailpiece
- JPEG (.jpg) format
- Full color
- Size: 300 pixels wide by 200 pixels high
- Maximum file size: 200 KB
- Includes a call-to-action, clear and compelling
- Provide URL to link from image to a live webpage with related content
Please note that the 2025 discount for Informed Delivery will shrink to 1%, so now’s your chance to earn the full 4%.
