Lane Press is happy to announce that we have reinstated our Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain-of-Custody Certification. Like many print suppliers, Lane suspended chain-of-custody certification in 2022 following the post-COVID global paper shortage, which made it difficult to ensure adherence to the strict requirements of certification.

For those of you unfamiliar with chain-of-custody certification, it enables Lane Press to provide paper to customers that is certified as having been harvested and produced according to sustainable foresting practices. For the printing industry, chain-of-custody certification—starting with the pulp providers and ending with the printer—is required to enable end-use publishers to include a logo in their publications indicating that the paper on which it is printed is certified.

If you would like to resume or begin using FSC-certified paper, please contact your Publisher Services team at Lane Press. We are happy to help.
