Yesterday, the Trump Administration announced sweeping tariffs on goods from countries across the world. We recognize that our customers are eager to know whether the price of imported publication paper will be impacted.
While Lane Press orders the majority of our publication paper from domestic mills, we also order from mills in Canada.
The good news for now is that publication paper imported from Canada complies with the United States-Mexico-Canada Trade Agreement (USMCA) and is therefore exempt from the tariffs as announced.
Please bear in mind that this is a very dynamic situation and one we will continue to closely monitor.
