Human Resources Director
Our HR Director is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of our busy HR department. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) leading HR policy and procedure communications to ensure consistency and adherence; developing and managing employee benefits; overseeing our Worker’s Compensation processes; developing workplace initiatives to increase safety, health, and wellness; inspiring and leading a team of managers to recruit and hire the very best talent for the organization; and supporting employee relations.
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 5-7 years of professional HR experience is required. Experience working with employees, managers, and executives in both individual and group settings, with a proven ability to influence all levels of the organization through trusting, respectful, and highly communicative relationships is necessary. Demonstrated ability to reason and understand the impact and implications of business decisions also required. Safety and environmental program and regulation knowledge is strongly desired.
Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)
Primary responsibilities will include the maintenance and repair of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical drives, lubrication systems, and HVAC systems, as well as assistance with electrical repairs. Our successful candidate will be experienced in the use of hand and power tools. Knowledge of the operation of machine shop equipment, welding, and/or an interest in electrical controls is a plus. The ability to drive to fast and efficient results in a fast-paced manufacturing setting is critical. Successful completion of a mechanical technology program, and at least 4 years of experience in the repair of complex mechanical equipment, is required. CAD training and/or experience are also desirable.
Electronic Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)
Primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing the following systems; Programmable Logic Controls (PLC), Servo and adjustable speed motor controls, AC/DC power control circuits, Profibus and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Our successful candidate will be experienced in utilizing the following tools; oscilloscope, a PC-based data logger, VOM and national electric codes. A strong understanding of HVAC systems and how mechanics interface with electronic systems is required.
Our ideal candidate should possess excellent organization and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with vendors, members of the Lane Press management team and employees. Strong planning and project management skills combined with the ability to drive to fast and efficient results in a fast-paced manufacturing setting are needed. At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of computer/PLC-based controls (associated with production equipment) is necessary. An Associate’s degree or equivalent is also required.
Entry-Level Production Positions
8-hour shifts — 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available.
